Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to use Inbox Echo
• You represent that you are the intended recipient of any message content you submit
• Inbox Echo currently supports English-language content only

2. Accounts

• You must create an account to use Inbox Echo
• Accounts are created using an email address and password or via Google OAuth
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity under it
• You may configure privacy settings, including words to always redact from submitted content

3. Service Description

Inbox Echo allows users to:

• Paste or submit messages they have received (email, LinkedIn, DMs, or other outreach)
• Have those messages processed and cleaned to remove personal or identifying information
• Generate an AI-written response using OpenAI's Enterprise API
• Receive a shareable Echo link displaying only the generated response and Inbox Echo branding

Inbox Echo does not send emails from your personal email account. Users choose if and how they share Echo links.

Level 10 Retaliation (Optional Feature)

The Level 10 Retaliation feature allows users to forward unwanted emails to a shared Inbox Echo address. When enabled:

• AI-generated responses are automatically sent from a shared Inbox Echo address to the original sender
• The conversation continues until a configurable reply limit is reached or the sender stops responding
• After the conversation ends, a final Echo link is delivered to the sender
• Full unredacted conversation content is temporarily stored while the conversation is active
• Once the conversation completes or times out, sensitive data is redacted or deleted

By using Level 10 Retaliation, you acknowledge that Inbox Echo will send emails on your behalf from a shared address and temporarily store unredacted conversation data.

4. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

• Responses are generated by artificial intelligence and may be opinionated, sarcastic, inaccurate, or unintended
• Inbox Echo does not guarantee the accuracy, tone, or appropriateness of AI-generated content
• You are solely responsible for deciding whether and how to use any generated response

Inbox Echo is intended for expressive or humorous responses to unwanted outreach. Use of the service is at your own discretion and risk.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Inbox Echo responsibly and as intended.

While users may submit content of their choosing, you acknowledge that:

• You are responsible for any consequences arising from your use of the service
• Inbox Echo is not liable for misuse, misinterpretation, or downstream effects of shared responses

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that create legal, security, or operational risk.

6. User Content & Ownership

• You retain ownership of the content you submit and the AI-generated responses created for you
• You grant Inbox Echo a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display content solely to operate and improve the service
• Echo links display only the AI-generated response, not the original submitted input

7. Echo Links

• Echo links are accessible to anyone with the link
• Links display only the generated response and Inbox Echo branding
• Echo links may expire depending on your plan (7, 14, or 30 days)
• When someone views an Echo link, we collect view analytics including approximate geolocation (city, country) based on IP address
• Paid tiers may display this data on a location heatmap so you can see where your Echo was viewed
• Inbox Echo does not control how third parties interact with shared links

8. Plans, Billing & Payments

• Inbox Echo offers a limited free tier and paid subscription plans
• Paid plans may unlock:
  • Additional monthly echoes
  • All echo tones (including Unhinged Bestie and Take the Hint)
  • Extended Echo link duration (7, 14, or 30 days depending on plan)
  • Echo view history and location analytics
  • Custom reply templates
  • Context field for personalized echoes
  • Level 10 Retaliation access
• Some features offer a one-time trial on lower tiers before requiring an upgrade
• Payments are processed via Stripe
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled
• Fees are non-refundable unless required by law

9. Account Deletion & Data Retention

• You may request account deletion at any time
• Inbox Echo retains Echo history for up to 90 days for any user
• After 90 days, Echo history may be automatically deleted or anonymized
• Level 10 conversation data (including unredacted content) is deleted or redacted once conversations complete or time out
• Upon account deletion, remaining associated data will be removed in accordance with this retention policy
• Aggregated or anonymized data may be retained for analytics, security, or legal purposes

10. Third-Party Services

Inbox Echo relies on third-party services including:

• OpenAI (Enterprise API)
• Supabase
• Google OAuth
• Stripe

Your use of Inbox Echo is also subject to the terms and policies of these providers.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

Inbox Echo is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties regarding uptime, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Inbox Echo shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of data, revenue, or reputation
• User actions taken based on AI-generated content

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Inbox Echo constitutes acceptance of any updated Terms.
